If this isn’t the best potholder you ever own, I’ll be shocked. 450 degree cast iron can’t stand against it! I wrote the pattern myself after realizing that most crocheted potholders were full of holes or spaces, making it way too easy to burn myself. Linked stitches solved that problem! Double thick, and super durable, this potholder is the answer to all of your hot kitchen work. I’ve been using them since before I wrote up the pattern, and I have yet to burn myself. I recommend these to anybody who does a lot of baking, especially.
This pot holder is crocheted by me using 100% tightly-spun cotton yarn. It is a double thickness of Fiesta Red colorway, seamed on the top and bottom with Honeydew, complete with corner hanging loop. It’s so thick, you can use it as a trivet on your table!
